The babies are 5mos and a week!

We just got over the croup. Ugh..it was horrible. We all got a cold as well and no one was sleeping. It was terrible. I'm back to work full time so it was rough. They are finally sleeping again but i'm worried about the time change tonight because we are losing an hour. But we'll see....

I love taking photos of them. I have 1000's lol...i think it's because i have no pics of me as a baby. Sad i know...We are re-doing our house as well. So i am going to print a bunch of these and put them on our walls. It'll be really hard to edit. If it were up to me i'd have every square inch of my walls covered with photos of them haha.

I got a promotion at work yay! I am now a marketing specialist. I got a pay raise and an office. I'm so happy. Now i'll put a bunch of photos of them in there too.

Well gotta go make bottles. The babies have been sleeping really well today for naps. I hope that means they'll sleep good tonight! Unfortunately naps during the day don't usually matter for night sleep. They could sleep good and sleep like crap at night..or not have good naps but sleep all night. I just hope they start sleeping through the night soon. I'm one tired mommy....

Babies are a little over 4 mos

Ugh...i've been awful. I just hate being on the computer now that i'm back to work.
The babies had their 4 mos well check today and shots. They did so good. They cried but it didn't last long and they did great.

Brody is 15.10 26" long and Maisy is 14.14 and 25.5" long. They are doing really well.

Maisy sleeps all night most nights. From 7 - 7...Brody however is doing very badly lately. He used to just wake a few times a night for the binky or sleep from 7 to 5am. Now i have to pick him up to put him back to sleep. I think i have my MIL to blame for that. She puts him to bed for naps already asleep. Not good.

Nothing new here except work sucks. I got offered basically a 2nd full time job for not enough money but i need to take it to further my career. I'm exhausted from being up half the night and find it hard to concentrate. So i really hope i can handle it. I need the extra money.

I did a photo shoot which i have posted a few pics for you to see how big they are now. I did this one myself and i am so proud of myself lol...

Hope all is well with every one. I have alot of reading to do to catch up on everyone!!

Babies are almost 11wks old!!!

This is the photo that is on their christmas card. I just love how the photographer captured them. They are 6wks old in this photo.

Holy moly! Where has the time gone? I'm sorry i haven't posted in a while but i have been busy with the twins and my puter was broken for a few weeks. That sucked because i couldn't look anything up when i had a question. I love thebump.com for answering new mommy quests so that was killing. But i'm back.

I go back to work on the 27th and although i'm looking forward to the break i'm not looking forward to leaving them. Thankfully my mother in law will be watching them 4 days a week. BUT i'm worried that they'll like her better than me cuz i know she'll spoil them. But on the other hand it's what's best for them and i feel that having a family member watch them especially her is the best situation we could be in.

The babies are doing so well. Their last appt they had their first shots which was awful. I cried, they cried..it was so sad. Brody weighs 12.4 and Maisy weighs 11.10. Yes, Brody has overtaken his sister!!! He is also longer than her at 24in and she is 23 1/2.

Well gotta go do my last feed of the night and it's their first night in their bedroom by themselves. They are still in bouncy seats in their cribs but small steps lol...i'll have to wean them from the bouncies at some point.

almost 2wks old....

The past week and a half has been so tiring yet so rewarding at the same time. We had our 2nd appt today and they are back to their birth weight so i no longer have to wake them at night to feed or keep track of their pee's & poops and how much they are eating. YAY!!! I am going to have to try to get them to sleep in the pnp though so tonight is a trial run. It would be great if they slept in that thing so i could lay in bed and get some sleep at night. I find myself staying up alot in the middle of the night and not sleeping during the day either. So i'm quite cranky. My dh is the best though. He let me sleep from 11:30pm to 8am last night. Isn't he the best!!

Being a mother is so crazy. I still don't think it's set in. I almost feel like i'm babysitting someones elses kids lol...I almost can't wait until they are a few months old so i can play with them. Right now is a boring stage lol. I know i should be greatful of this time though because soon they won't sleep during the day at all lol...

For some reason i can't post any photos right now but i'll post more another day. I'm leary about posting too many pics of them though so you prob won't see too many of them. Sorry ladies...i don't know how to make my blog private and i don't want strangers using my babies photos.

Well i'm sure as you have guessed i had the babies. I went to my 38wk appt and they both failed the biophysical for breathing on their own..sooo my doc said today is the day! i was kind of shocked. I drove to the hospital alone...i couldn't get my husband as his phone had broke that day. I called my mom and she said she was on her way. I arrived at the hospital alone....not how i wanted this whole thing to go down. I got in touch with my husband and he met me there shortly after.

Brody & Maisy were born at 10:54 & 10:55pm. It felt like they'd never take me to the OR. I got to the hospital at 5ish...i was scared. I started having anxiety attacks. The csect scared the hell out of me.

I'll post a more in detail birth experience but i wanted to get some pics up on this blog for you ladies!!

38 wks...oh my

If anyone asked me during early pregnancy how far i'd go i'd have said at least 36 wks!! Here i sit at 38wks just floored that they don't want to come out! I have no signs of labor at all. I'm just wondering if they'll decide to make an appearance on their own or wait until the csect on the 13th. At this point i guess it doesn't matter. The 13th is only 5 days away so i guess i could just hold out until then.

I feel huge, i'm now 157pds!!! My dh says i should take a pic of that because i'll never see it again. I've always been around 110. I have been very lucky and been able to eat still. I don't get full that quick either so i'm still gaining weight instead of losing it like many others in the 3rd tri. Again..this is good as they babies are getting big.

These are things i can't wait for:
1) To make sure they are both healthy
2) To see what they look like
3) To see who they look like
4) Will they have hair?
5) How much will they weigh? How long will they be?
6) What names will we settle on?
7) Will i be able to breastfeed both at same time?
8) To see my dh holding his children...this makes me tear up just thinking about it
9) To have my body back!!
10) To get rid of the constant heartburn!!!!!

Not long now...i will try to enjoy my last few days as a family of 2. But now i'm getting anxious...very anxious. Prob cuz i'm at home bored.

Dr's appt today to see where we are at..hopefully this is the last one. It should be. I'll post later with an update.

Update from peri appt

My little girl passed!!!!!! YAY!!!!! No csect for me today!!! He is ok with waiting until the 13th although he hopes i go into labor before then.

The estimated weights are baby boy: 6pds 9oz and baby girl 6pds 14oz!! No wonder i'm so uncomfortable lol.

Well going to lay down cuz i'm tired with all this worrying...
