36 wks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gosh i am so proud of my body for keeping these little babies in for so long but i was really hoping for some change in my cervix from last week...alas there was none. I'm still 50% effaced. I can't wait to meet them! I know this can change at any time so i'm trying to be optimistic. I know i sound so selfish but i can't help it. Thankfully i finish work on the 29th as i think that's part of my problem. Weekends i can sit around, get up when i want and it's not a big deal..week days i get up, shower feet the animals and go to work. I had cut my hours down to 8-3 but it is still very hard to make it through the day. By thursday I am just pooped and not very happy lol. So hopefully if i leave on the 29th i'll be able to keep them in there longer more comfortably.

Car seats are installed!!! I put the window shades on the car as well. So we are all set for these little ones to make their grand appearance.

My dr's appt on thursday went well. I got an u/s and the fluid is good, no cord issues and they looked very content. I got to see their bladders empty and making fists. My dh missed this one as it wasn't scheduled. I felt so bad for him. But he was ok as long as the babies are good.

Some stats on me - i have gained about 35 pds if you go by my starting weight. If you go by my morning sickness end date where i actually started gaining weight i've gained 45 pds. This to me is the more accurate one but for some reason they don't see it that way. My belly is measuring for a 44wk pregnancy!!!

I have stretch marks now but fortunately you can't see them in the pics are they are basically just shiny lines at the moment. They aren't the deep purple ones thank god. I feel bad for anyone that get's those.

So anyone who picked 36wks I guess it could still happen during 36wks but i have a feeling they are coming next weekend...37wks!! I have always measured a week ahead so i consider myself 37wks right now so to make it until next weekend would be awesome!! Guess i don't have to worry about preemies now which is awesome!!!!

35wks!! Woot Woot!!!

I can't beleive i'm typing this!! 35wks people!!! My OB appt yesteday shows my cervix is softening and thinning but still closed. YAY for my awesome cervix!!! My son is very low in my pelvis and she could feel his head. She said his head is engaged whatever that means lol...

I am so excited to know that my babies lungs are almost mature and that if i did go into labor my babies would have a fighting chance.

I have been feeling pretty good lately except i think i might have hit a wall. I am at the point where i feel like i can't go on. I am still working full time because i want to be out when the babies are here and not too much before so i am struggling to get through each day. I have 2 more wks at work unless the babies come. I will be 37wks at that point. I'm not sure if i'll make it that far but i am going to try.

So unless anything happens from now until this thursday (another OB appt & internal) i will not have anything new to rpt. Hang in there babies!

ps. and if they decide to stay in there until 38wks my c-section is Oct 13th..i will be 38wks and 5 days!!

34 wk peri appt

Well....i can't believe what we heard at our appt today. Our baby boy weighs 6pds 1oz and the girl weighs 5pds 5oz!!! I know they are guesstimates but i didn't think they'd be even close to those weights.

This was our last appt. Dr thinks it won't be long now!! A few weeks he said..if we could make it to 37wks it would be good but he'd be surprised. I have always said 36wks so we'll see how that works out.

I am having back issues now which is really hard on me. It wipes me out. Luckily i am leaving work at 3pm every day now. So it's helping.

Next OB appt is thursday...I will have my Group B strep test done. The following thursday will be my first internal. I'm dreading that but i also can't wait to see if any changes have been happening down there.

So only a few more weeks and we'll meet the babies!!! YAY!!!!

34 wks!! I have met my personal goal!!

As you can see i have dropped quite a bit. I'm not sure if that means i will be having my babies soon or if they have just moved for more room. My 34 wk OB appt went well. I did ask them if I could be hooked up to the monitors to make sure baby girl was not in distress as i hadn't felt her move as much. It showed her heart rate was climbing to 190. When all was said and done it was just everytime she moved it went up. The Dr said she's a crazy girl! No protein in urine so no repeat 24hr test necessary.

I honestly think i'm going to go almost the whole way! I still think 36 wks but perhaps i'm wrong. The babies room is complete except for a few pics on the wall and the curtains. The carseats are being installed tonight and the DSNG is all put together and ready to go. My bag is packed so i'm all ready to go when they are ready.

I haven't had many braxton hicks at all..well not that i can feel. Alot of the time the babies move i think it's hicks but i can't be sure.

Next u/s is Monday so i'll post the weights and if there are any changes.

33 wks!

I am so pleased with my body for making it this far. I really feel like i may go all the way to 38wks. I have had some cramping but i don't think they have been contractions as my belly wasn't tight at the same time. Probably just my uterus expanding again. I am bigger from last week that's for sure.

Work is getting harder to be at all day but at least i have monday off and i am going to go out of work at 36 or 37 wks depending on how i feel at that point. Then these babies can come whenever they want!

The refi is all set to close. I am not going to look for another car until after the closing on the house. It won't snow here until prob Nov/Dec and at that time we'll look. For now i'll get 2 new front tires for my car and have the car seats installed in it (honda accord). This car is just horrible in the snow so as long as i get one before the real winter comes.

Yesterday I got most of the items i needed to finish the nursery, my bag and the diaper bag. So i am thrilled and alot of stress is off my back. We are putting some more of the nursery together. I have decided to not worry about putting the curtains up, or the ceiling fan or the photos etc until after they come because they won't be in there for a few weeks after they come any way.

So for now i am just going to finish up what i can do and relax until they come!!!
