28 wks!!!

Had my 28 wks appt today. Babies look great. Still boy & girl. No growth scan this time since i just had one. C-section will be scheduled for 38wks and no later if i make it that far. Baby A is vertex but baby B is transverse still. OB says most likely c-sect but you just never know.

Baby A was biting on his hand. It was the cutest thing ever. I think dh was getting teary eyed. Glucose test taken again (1st one was 20 wks) So i hope i pass it because that stuff is nasty!

My weight 140 in the am 143 at 2:30pm..my feet are very swollen
belly is measuring 34wks
Blood pressure 108/something..can't remember that part

So all is well. Got my other crib today so i'll take pics. The room is coming together nicely. Can't believe my babies will be here in 10wks or less. So scary yet so exciting at the same time.

27 wks!

Just a quick post to show off my 27wk belly. I feel like i'm getting bigger by the hour but comparing the photo from last week i'm not that much bigger but that's ok. The babies are doing great. Kicking away every time they are awake. Sometimes i love it and sometimes it feels wierd and sometimes it just plain hurts! My baby girl is in my ribs constantly so i have to rub my side to try to move her down. I don't usually succeed though lol...oh well.

My feet have been swelling and my hands. More so my left side. The right side swells but not as bad as the left side and my fingers on my left hand kill me. It's like arthritis or something.

I can't believe i am almost to the 3rd tri!! I have been very blessed that all has been going very good so i'm hoping it continues that way.

Today we are working on the nursery again. I have an engagement party to go to which i'm not looking forward too because of the heat. If it's real bad i may not go. I will swell swell swell if i'm out in the heat.

26 wk peri appt

The babies are looking good! At 26wks 3 days baby A is 2pds 4oz and baby B is 2pds 3oz. This was an interesting appt. The u/s tech laid me flat on my back. Now granted i knew i didn't like being on my back but i had no idea that i was going feel the way i did. It was a matter of 90 secs or so and i felt dizzy and thought i was going to pass out. We took a few breaks and she put the the bed upright. We continued and then all of a sudden my dh said are you ok? I turned pale white and felt sick. They pulled the garbage can over and i threw up like 8 times. It was awful! So needless to say it was not a fun appt. Good news is the babies are doing great. There is only a 1% discordance between the 2.

Next appt is 28 wks where i have to have another glucose test..ewww...i'm thinking of bringing jelly beans this time as that drink made me really dizzy then really tired and i have a tastefully simple party that night that i must attend. I need more beer bread!! lol....

26 wks!!!

I can't believe i'm nearing the 3rd tri!!!!!! This is just the most awesome time in our lives. I can't wait to meet these little people and can't believe it have at least 10 more wks to go. My dh is so excited and not nervous yet. When i told him we only have about 10 wks to go then he got nervous because we have so much to do but not because of the babies coming.

I am still dealing with heartburn and i'm sure it's only going to get worse but its all worth it. My joints are killing me and sleeping? What's that? Most nights i can't get comfortable enough to sleep. Hips and ribs....that's all i have to say. BUT i will take it all as long as the babies stay in there for a lot longer.

Next appt is w/the peri on Monday. Can't wait to see them!

ps. Shower dates are Aug 7th and Aug 12th. I am sooooo excited!
pps. my belly is sitting high again...yay! i guess its just the position the babies are sitting in so i won't worry if it looks saggy again.

25 wk pic

OMG i am getting huge. I know it prob doesn't look that big but i am small and i feel like a beached whale lol...i feel the babies moving all the time and although it comforting sometimes its painful!! Doesn't it look like my belly looks lower? Like all the weight is just makin my stomach sag.

I think we are close to naming these little ones. The boy is most likely going to be called Brody David M. and the girl has a few names Emily Karin M. or Chloe Karin M. or Maisy Karin M. we are just not sure. Karin is a must as it was my best friends name and she passed away in 2001 right before 911. It's hard to come with names that go with Karin so i decided to give up on that and just go with what i liked because you never really use their middle name anyway.

Nothing else new. Next appt is with the peri and that is the 19th. Oh and the blood in the urine came back negative for any infection. So....not sure why it showed up but i will have the peri redo it then.

24 wks!!!!

My dr's appt didn't go as well as i had hoped but thankfully the babies are doing great!! They are weighing in at 1pd 90z for the girl and 1pd 10oz for the boy. So even though my little girl has the umbilical cord issue it doesn't seem to be effecting her at all. Hopefully it won't ever during this pregnancy.

Now for the disappointing news which really isn't that bad but the ahole dr made me feel like it was. Since my 20wk appt i have gained 12 pds!!! So of course he's telling me that it's alot for a month and to watch what i eat. Not once did he ask if i have been retaining water which i have in my legs, feet and hands. I was 124 at 20wks and now i'm 136. I weighed myself the next morning and i was 133. Everyone is telling me not to worry about it so i'm not going to.

They also found blood in my urine which could be a few things, UTI, Bladder infect or maybe the babies are kicking my insides alot which i'm hoping for because i do not want to take anymore antibiotics! But i will if i have to. At least i can eat and take them this time. Taking them with m/s was the pits!!

We have started the nursery and i will post some pics soon. We painted the walls a yellow called Main street lights by disney. It's quite a bright yellow but it's gorgeous. We bought a crib and will register for the other yesterday. DH couldn't wait to put it together so he did it last night at 9pm. It's gorgeous and he picked it out. Can't wait to get the other one in there and have this room done. I'm taking pictures as we go so i'll upload them when the room is finished.

My poor dog got stung i don't know how many times yesterday by wasps. He is still limping this morning and he had really runny yellow poop. He seems to be ok other than this so i'm going to watch him and make sure he's ok. If not, off to the vet. Poor thing. I think he got stung like 4 times and he's a small dog.

Oh babies are moving around like crazy right now and i'm hungry so i'll go now and get some breakfast. Congrats to all of my friends who had their babies yesterday!
