33 wks!

I am so pleased with my body for making it this far. I really feel like i may go all the way to 38wks. I have had some cramping but i don't think they have been contractions as my belly wasn't tight at the same time. Probably just my uterus expanding again. I am bigger from last week that's for sure.

Work is getting harder to be at all day but at least i have monday off and i am going to go out of work at 36 or 37 wks depending on how i feel at that point. Then these babies can come whenever they want!

The refi is all set to close. I am not going to look for another car until after the closing on the house. It won't snow here until prob Nov/Dec and at that time we'll look. For now i'll get 2 new front tires for my car and have the car seats installed in it (honda accord). This car is just horrible in the snow so as long as i get one before the real winter comes.

Yesterday I got most of the items i needed to finish the nursery, my bag and the diaper bag. So i am thrilled and alot of stress is off my back. We are putting some more of the nursery together. I have decided to not worry about putting the curtains up, or the ceiling fan or the photos etc until after they come because they won't be in there for a few weeks after they come any way.

So for now i am just going to finish up what i can do and relax until they come!!!

32 wks!!

Not much to report this week. I am doing really good. I went to the dr on thursday worried about pre e as my feet were just swelling up really bad and they were up alot too. Plus i had a headache. But my BP was 100 over 64 so all is well. The swelling apparently is normal and will get worse...lol Great!

I went to the dutchess county fair yesterday and i saw about 10 pregnant ladies and not one of them had fat cankles!!!! I know i'm different because it's twins but i know heat has something to do with it also so i was surprised. Needless to say after 3 hrs of walking i was done. My feet, ankles and back were killing me! I felt bad because my hubby didn't want to leave but he did because i'm more important. He was going to go back to hang with his family and go on some rides but by the time we got home and he called them they were only going to stay there for another hour. So he didn't get to go back. I was in bed sleeping at 8pm!!

Today we have a wedding! I am still feeling pretty good. I woke up this morning sore but after walking around a bit that eased up some. So i think i'll be fine for the wedding but the mr is worried about me. But i'll be fine. I'll be sitting most of the time anyway!

I still have sooooo much to do but it's getting there. I just have to pick one thing to do a day and get them done. I am refinancing the house and need to buy a new car as well so i am feeling overwhelmed with it all. Hopefully we'll get it all done before they come.

Next u/s cervix check is Sept 13th. I wonder if i'll be almost ready by then. I don't get internals until 36wks which is surprising to me. But i'm sure they don't want to stir anything up.

Well going to get some things done before hubby brings me my breakfast!!Have a good day ladies!

Thankfully my protein test and bloods came back normal. The swelling in my feet has gotten worse but now at least i won't worry too much about pre-e. Although i know it can come on at any moment. I have read that you can get pain on your right side under your ribs and i've had that...but i've had that for weeks. I'm just not sure why i have that pain though? I've told the dr about it but they haven't been concerned.

The babies are moving around sooooo much now and it's not at all comfortable most of the time. It's quite painful at times. But at least i know they are still doing good.

I feel like i'm huge now. Walking around for long periods of time just takes all of my energy anymore. I went to target and the christmas tree shop yesterday. It was a total of a 2.5 hr trip and i was wrecked. My feet and legs were killing me and i could have went to bed. I guess at this point of my pregnancy i need to take it easy. But i have so much to do still!!

I am in the middle of refinancing my house, i need to buy a new car, i need to figure out health insurance for the babies because if i add them to my coverage it'll be almost $500 a month! and the list goes on and on...and time is running out.

I can't believe how fast this is all going now. It seemed like it would never get here. I am starting to panic about everything now. If i go all the way to 38wks i only have 7 more weeks to go! That is a scary thought!

30 wks 3 days Peri appt

The babies are doing so good. Our son weighs 3pds 8oz although they couldn't get a good reading on him as his head was too far down into my pelvis but he may weigh more. Our daughter weighed in at 3pds 10oz. She was very active today. In fact my husband said it was the most he's ever seen her sticky out of my stomach. He said it looked like she was trying to escape! It hurt like hell as well.

I am not a big fan of the u/s. I think for the most part it hurts. I look forward to seeing our babies but since he is so far down she digs the wand into my pelvis. Not a big fan at all. My cervix was at 3.11 so it's still looking good. They hopefully won't be coming any time soon.

I got so much stuff from my showers that i think i'll be washing clothes etc...for days! So i'm doing a few loads a night to get it done so i don't have to worry about it on the weekend. My dh wants me to rest on the weekends only. No cleaning etc...we want these babies to stay in as long as possible.

The room is coming along. The dresser has had 3-4 coats of stain to try to match it up to the cribs. It's lookin good but it's still tacky and we have to wait until it's totally dry before putting the finishes on it. Then once that's up we'll be able to finish putting stuff away. We have shelves and some photos to put up as well. I also need curtains and a ceiling fan. Then we should be all set. The closet if FULL of clothes if you can believe it. They have so many clothes!

I am getting excited for them to come but honestly i'm scared. What if i can't handle 2 babies? What if they are hard babies to take care of? What if they come early and have to stay in the NICU? What if what if what if...i have been having some nightmares lately like i don't have enough diapers etc...it's me up at night. I think i might put some paper & a pen next to my bed to make a list of what i think off. I have a list but making 2 might make me feel better lol...

So babies are doing really well and we can't wait for the next u/s to see them again.

30 wks! Oh my....in the home stretch

I am in the 30's now! I had my OB appt yesterday and i have 1+ protein in my urine so i have to do a 24hr protein test...this consists of me peeing in a pan and pouring it into a red plastic container and putting it in the fridge (yes disgusting) for 24hrs straight. They want to make sure i don't have a lot of protein in my urine in case of pre-eclampsia. I have swelling in my ankles and feet but my BP is fine at 122/62 (I think 62, can't remember) so i'm hoping its nothing. I also have sugar in my urine as well but i drank sprite at lunch and had gum and tic tacs right before peeing not thinking so i'm hoping that's all that was.

Well gotta go start my day...laundry from my showers which i got soooo much stuff!! we only need a few more things and that's it. I'm hoping to get this all taken care of in the next week or so. Then i need to look for a new car. Of course i'll buy a minivan as i really need one.

The hubster and i are guessing when the babies will come..i guess Sept 26th and he guesses Oct 1st. So i wanted to write it down so i had it in writing. Let's see who is right! If i go to 38 wks that will be 10/8..if we get that far i may ask them for 10/10/10!

I can't believe it am almost 30wks!!!!! My goal is to get to 34 and then after that i can relax.

I had my first babyshower today. I got sooooo many things. I am sooo tired right now and my feet are so swollen. It's 9pm and i'm just about ready to fall on my face. The shower was wonderful. The food, the guests the cake! It was just amazing. My next one is on thursday at work. I'm excited about that as well.

Well a short post as i am ready for bed.
